In January 2020, I took the first step into the world of software quality assurance by joining PT AJAR MEDIA DIGITAL as a Software Quality Assurance (QA) intern. Specializing in Learning Management Systems (LMS), the company gave me an invaluable opportunity to refine my skills in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
During my internship, I was actively involved in various stages of testing, both manual and automated, to ensure the LMS systems under development met the highest quality standards. My day-to-day responsibilities included performing functional testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with the development team to implement necessary fixes.
This role taught me the importance of QA in the software development lifecycle and how essential it is to maintain system reliability and user satisfaction. Additionally, I gained insight into the challenges involved in LMS development and how technology solutions can be harnessed to improve the learning experience for users.
Looking back, this internship was a pivotal moment in my career, helping me understand the critical balance between testing, development, and user experience.
