A Memorable Visit to Rumah Jenang Kudus Mubarok - Culture, History, and Hospitality

On Friday, October 22, 2020, my team and I travelled from Sleman to Kota Kudus, also known as Bumi Muria. Our visit included several agendas, such as touring the Jenang Kudus Mubarok Centre and paying our respects at the Sunan Muria tomb.

Upon arriving in Kudus, we were warmly welcomed by the extended family of Jenang Kudus Mubarok. Pak Hilmy, the third-generation owner of Jenang Kudus Mubarok, graciously invited us to stay at their guesthouse.

We were treated to an exceptional hospitality experience, with various delicious food and beverages, including products from PT Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia.

As evening fell, we prepared for our ascent to Bukit Muria to visit the Sunan Muria tomb. Despite the challenging weather with heavy rain, wind, and lightning, the atmosphere around the tomb remained vibrant and bustling.

The next day, Pak Hilmy took us on a tour of the Jenang Kudus Mubarok Museum. It was an enlightening experience; the museum showcased not only the history of Jenang Kudus but also exhibits from Turkey, Egypt, and other regions.

As we prepared to return to Sleman in the late afternoon, we were gifted with delightful products from PT Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia. A heartfelt thank you to Pak Hilmy for the wonderful experience and generous gifts.
