On August 30, 2024, I had the privilege of visiting the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia. This visit was part of an extensive project I am working on to develop a digital system supporting various programs of the ministry. This experience has greatly enriched my understanding of the marine and fisheries sector and presented challenging opportunities in the technology field.

The goal of this project is to digitize and streamline various operational processes within the ministry, including data management, program monitoring, and performance reporting. As a developer, my responsibility is to ensure that the system developed meets the complex needs of the ministry with efficient and secure solutions.

During this visit, I had the opportunity to engage directly with the ministry's team to discuss the detailed requirements of the project, the workflow of the system, and the targets to be achieved. This discussion provided new insights into how technology can play a crucial role in supporting programs such as managing marine resources, empowering fishermen, and protecting marine environments.

One of the most memorable aspects of the visit was the collaborative spirit between the technology team and the ministry. I realized that building digital solutions is not only about writing code but also about understanding the vision and mission behind each program that the system serves.

This project stands out as a significant milestone in my professional journey. It is not just due to the scale of the project but also because of its contribution to national efforts in advancing Indonesia’s marine and fisheries sector.

I feel honored to be part of such a impactful project, and the visit to the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries will always be a moment I cherish. Collaborations like this further reinforce my belief that technology is a powerful tool for driving positive change across various sectors.

Awarded by the Lembaga Kajian Strategi Kepolisian Indonesia (LEMKAPI), this recognition highlights the significant impact and innovation of the app in improving public engagement with law enforcement and streamlining the reporting process.

The WA Yanduan Propam Presisi app has truly revolutionized how citizens interact with the Propam POLRI Division. By integrating the app with the widely used messaging platform, WhatsApp, the app has made it possible for people to submit complaints, track reports, and receive updates—all from the convenience of their phones. This simple yet powerful integration has made it easier for the public to have their voices heard and for the police to respond promptly to issues, building stronger community-police relations.

This Presisi Award is not only a personal milestone but a testament to the dedication and hard work put into developing the app. It's a moment of pride for me and my team, as it demonstrates how our efforts in advancing technology have contributed to improving law enforcement practices. This recognition motivates us to continue pushing boundaries, innovating, and creating solutions that enhance the public service experience.

On March 2, 2023, a groundbreaking tool in public reporting was launched by the National Police Chief—the WA Yanduan Propam Presisi application. This innovative platform is set to change the way citizens interact with law enforcement, making the process of filing complaints more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly than ever before.

The WA Yanduan Propam Presisi app enables citizens to submit complaints directly through WhatsApp, eliminating the need for an in-person visit to the police station. Users can initiate the process by simply scanning a barcode or saving the WhatsApp number 081210106700. The app allows users to easily upload their personal identification by capturing a photo of their ID with their smartphones, streamlining the submission process.

By integrating with WhatsApp, this tool provides an easy and effective way for users to track the status of their complaints, ensuring that updates are communicated promptly. This new approach marks a huge step forward in modernizing the relationship between the public and law enforcement.

On December 21, 2022, I had the honor of assisting in training session at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Headquarters (Polda Metro Jaya). The focus of the session was the WA YANDUAN PRESISI system, an innovative application I developed alongside my team to enhance public service and streamline the complaint process for law enforcement.

The WA YANDUAN PRESISI application leverages WhatsApp to enable citizens to submit complaints and track their progress without the need to visit a police station. This system represents a significant advancement in making law enforcement services more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.

During the training, I helped demonstrated the system’s functionalities to officers from multiple regional police departments, including West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and South Jakarta. The session covered key features, such as complaint submission, tracking mechanisms, and efficient follow-up processes, ensuring that every officer could seamlessly integrate the tool into their daily operations.

The initiative goes beyond the implementation of new technology; it represents a step toward fostering better communication, transparency, and trust between the police force and the community. By equipping officers with this modern tool, we aim to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the public, creating a more responsive and accountable system.

From December 5 to 7, 2022, I had the privilege of serving as an assistant trainer in an impactful program titled "Penggerak Ekosistem Digital Untuk Membangun SMART UMKM Menuju SMART ECONOMY" (Digital Ecosystem Enabler for Building SMART SMEs Toward a SMART Economy). Organized by BPSDMP Surabaya under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the training was held in Magetan Regency and aimed to equip local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the skills and tools necessary to thrive in the evolving digital economy.

This three-day program was designed to empower SMEs—businesses often considered the backbone of regional economies—by introducing them to digitalization strategies that can optimize their operations and broaden their market reach. I had the honor of sharing insights into the practical applications of digital tools, from online marketplaces to social media marketing and business management platforms.

The enthusiasm of the participants was truly inspiring. They embraced the opportunity to explore how digital technologies could help them streamline their operations, connect with broader audiences, and drive efficiency in their businesses. Witnessing their growth and curiosity fueled my passion for fostering digital literacy and innovation.

This experience underscored the critical role of SMEs in driving economic development, particularly in rural and regional areas. Supporting these businesses in their digital transformation journey not only strengthens local economies but also builds resilience and adaptability in an increasingly connected world.

I am proud to have been a part of this initiative to build a SMART UMKM ecosystem, helping these businesses navigate the digital landscape and prepare for the challenges of a SMART Economy. It reinforced my commitment to enabling more SMEs to unlock their potential through technology.

This Focus Group Discussion (FGD), themed “Program MSIB Kampus Merdeka,” was an inspiring opportunity to merge academic learning with real-world application, fostering growth and innovation.

As the Product Owner, I introduced our ongoing projects and the cutting-edge solutions developed by PT ADMA DIGITAL SOLUSI, offering the interns a glimpse into the dynamic world of digital technology. We divided them into specialized teams, enabling hands-on participation in various aspects of our projects. This approach not only empowered the interns to contribute fresh perspectives but also allowed them to gain practical experience in solving real-world challenges.

The FGD served as more than a discussion—it became a platform for meaningful collaboration and mutual growth. The interns displayed curiosity, asked thought-provoking questions, and actively engaged with our projects, infusing them with their youthful enthusiasm and innovative ideas. Witnessing their excitement and dedication was incredibly fulfilling and underscored the value of initiatives like Kampus Merdeka in bridging the gap between education and industry.

This event was a celebration of mentorship, creativity, and the collective pursuit of excellence. It reaffirmed my belief in the power of collaboration to inspire and nurture the next generation of tech leaders, ensuring a brighter and more innovative future for our industry.

On May 26, 2022, I had the privilege of joining my team from PT ADMA DIGITAL SOLUSI for a transformative two-day Business Agile-Scrum training in the charming city of Malang. This immersive experience was more than a workshop—it was an opportunity to deepen our understanding of agility and Scrum, two essential frameworks in today’s dynamic business landscape.

The training offered a thorough exploration of Agile methodologies, with a focus on Scrum, a proven framework for managing complex projects collaboratively. We delved into core aspects of Scrum, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, gaining hands-on experience through interactive activities and real-world scenarios. These exercises demonstrated how to integrate Agile principles into our projects at PT ADMA DIGITAL SOLUSI, enhancing both teamwork and productivity.

What made this workshop truly impactful was its emphasis on the mindset of adaptability and continuous improvement—the cornerstone of Agile practices. Beyond acquiring practical tools and techniques, the training inspired a renewed spirit of collaboration within our team. The environment encouraged us to think critically, adapt quickly, and continuously strive for excellence.

Returning from Malang, we carried with us a fresh perspective on tackling challenges, improving processes, and achieving project success. This two-day Scrum training was a pivotal moment in our professional journey, equipping us with the skills and mindset to navigate an ever-evolving business world with confidence.

I am proud to share an exciting milestone in my career—the launch of Monitoring Presisi, a mobile application I have been passionately developing since December 20, 2021. Designed to streamline reporting processes for the Binmas and Samapta units of the West Jakarta Metro Police, this app represents months of hard work, innovation, and dedication.

Monitoring Presisi is one of two major projects I’ve been spearheading at PT ADMA Solusi Digital. My role encompassed designing the database, developing the web system version, and creating the REST API to power the mobile application. This comprehensive approach ensured a robust, user-centered solution that seamlessly integrates with existing workflows. Alongside this project, I’m also leading the development of the Back End System for the Bareskrim Polri’s Community Reporting System, further contributing to innovative tools for law enforcement.

The success of Monitoring Presisi is the result of true collaboration. I had the privilege of working with Rangga, a skilled Mobile Front End Developer at PT ADMA Solusi Digital, whose expertise brought the app’s interface and functionality to life. Together, we delivered a solution that not only enhances the daily operations of the West Jakarta Metro Police but also exemplifies our team's commitment to driving impactful digital transformations.

As 2021 came to a close, I stood at the threshold of an exciting new chapter in my professional life. On December 15th, I embarked on a journey with PT ADMA DIGITAL SOLUSI, a company renowned for its forward-thinking approach to digital solutions. This decision was both exhilarating and challenging, as it marked a significant leap in my career path.

My initial two weeks at PT ADMA DIGITAL SOLUSI were part of a probationary period—a time designed to assess compatibility between the company and its new hires. These two weeks were intense, filled with opportunities to learn, adapt, and prove my capabilities. In November 2020, I embarked on an exciting new chapter in my career by transitioning to the role of Web Developer at PT AJAR MEDIA DIGITAL. This move marked a significant milestone, building on my prior experience as a Software Quality Assurance professional at a company specializing in Learning Management Systems (LMS).

As a Web Developer, I took on diverse responsibilities, including fixing bugs, implementing new features, and optimizing system performance to ensure seamless user experiences. Beyond maintaining the LMS, I contributed to designing and developing websites for the company and its partners. From crafting intuitive user interfaces to integrating complex functionalities, this role pushed me to expand my technical expertise and innovate in web development.

This opportunity allowed me to dive deeper into the world of web technologies, sharpening my skills in both front-end and back-end development. I also gained invaluable experience in managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and finding creative solutions to challenges. Most importantly, it reinforced my belief in the power of technology to transform user experiences and deliver impactful results.

On Friday, October 22, 2020, my team and I embarked on a memorable journey from Sleman to Kudus City, famously known as Bumi Muria. The trip was filled with enriching experiences, including a visit to the renowned Rumah Jenang Kudus Mubarok and a pilgrimage to the tomb of Sunan Muria.

Upon arriving in Kudus, we were greeted with unmatched hospitality by the extended family of Jenang Kudus Mubarok. Pak Hilmy, the third-generation owner of this iconic brand, graciously hosted us at their guesthouse, making us feel like part of their family. Their warmth extended to the culinary delights they shared, including an array of Jenang Kudus products from PT Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia.

As night fell, we embarked on a spiritual journey to Bukit Muria to visit the Sunan Muria tomb. Despite heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning, the vibrant atmosphere at the tomb was truly humbling, leaving a lasting impression on all of us.

The following day, Pak Hilmy personally guided us through the Jenang Kudus Mubarok Museum. The museum was a treasure trove of history and culture, showcasing not only the legacy of Jenang Kudus but also fascinating artifacts from Turkey, Egypt, and beyond. It was a captivating experience that deepened our appreciation for the rich heritage of Kudus.

Before departing for Sleman that afternoon, we were delighted by generous gifts from PT Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia, making the trip even more unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Pak Hilmy and his family for their incredible hospitality, inspiring stories, and kindness.

In August 2020, I took a significant step forward in my career by transitioning to a full-time Software Quality Assurance (QA) professional at PT AJAR MEDIA DIGITAL. Having completed an internship with the company, I was excited to leverage the skills I had gained and contribute to the company’s mission on a larger scale.

As part of the QA team at PT AJAR MEDIA DIGITAL, a provider of Learning Management Systems (LMS), my role was to ensure that every software release met rigorous quality standards. My responsibilities included conducting functional testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to address issues quickly and effectively.

This position provided me with an in-depth understanding of the software testing lifecycle and how quality assurance directly impacts the user experience and system performance. It taught me the importance of balancing user needs with technical constraints, and how quick, effective feedback and innovation are essential to delivering high-quality software.

The transition to a full-time role solidified my passion for QA and deepened my expertise in maintaining software integrity, a skill I continue to build on in my career today.

In January 2020, I took the first step into the world of software quality assurance by joining PT AJAR MEDIA DIGITAL as a Software Quality Assurance (QA) intern. Specializing in Learning Management Systems (LMS), the company gave me an invaluable opportunity to refine my skills in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

During my internship, I was actively involved in various stages of testing, both manual and automated, to ensure the LMS systems under development met the highest quality standards. My day-to-day responsibilities included performing functional testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with the development team to implement necessary fixes.

There's a saying, "Meeting is a delayed parting," and today, I truly felt the weight of these words. After 1.1 years with the incredible team at PT SOLUSINDO DAYA PRIMA, I’ve made the difficult decision not to extend my contract and to embark on a new chapter in my career journey.

Reflecting on my time here, I am filled with gratitude. The memories of the warm, supportive office atmosphere, the delicious meals from the cafeteria, and the ever-refreshing black coffee made by Mbok Desi are moments I will cherish. Although leaving wasn't an easy decision, I know that this change will open doors to new opportunities and exciting challenges.

On October 29th, 2019, I had the opportunity to work on a system maintenance and training project at The Legian Sunset Residence, an upscale apartment complex. This assignment was a significant milestone in my career, as it allowed me to directly interact with the users of the Trobex Property Management System and ensure everything was running smoothly.

During the visit, I conducted a thorough maintenance session, ensuring that the Trobex system was optimized and fully functional. Additionally, I provided training to the staff at The Legian Sunset Residence on how to use the system more effectively. The training session was designed to empower the team to take full advantage of the system’s features, from managing bookings to generating detailed reports.

There’s something truly special about working in Bali – every day feels like a vacation. After a long day at PT SOLUSINDO DAYA PRIMA, I had the privilege of unwinding by catching the sunset at one of Bali’s iconic beaches, whether it was at Pantai Jerman or Kuta Beach. The beauty of Bali’s sunsets is something I’ll always cherish, and it was a perfect way to end the workday.

On weekends, I’d often find myself enjoying the beach again, either by working out or simply relaxing by the waves. Bali’s laid-back atmosphere and stunning natural beauty made every day feel more like a reward than just another workday. Whether it was a jog along the beach or taking in the views, the beach became my go-to spot to recharge.

From April 25th to May 1st, 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to accompany Bli Ketut, a talented programmer, on a business trip to Gammara Hotel in Makassar. Our task was to conduct system maintenance and perform data reconciliation on the hotel’s Property Management System, Trobex. This experience became one of the most memorable milestones in my career as an IT Support professional.

During this trip, I was entrusted with managing the hotel's data and providing training to the staff on how to effectively use the Trobex system. This assignment not only allowed me to deepen my technical knowledge but also honed my communication and training skills. Working directly with the hotel staff, I learned how to translate complex technical processes into user-friendly instructions, which proved invaluable in ensuring the team could efficiently operate the system.

The trip emphasized the significance of thorough system maintenance and the need for precise data management to ensure smooth hotel operations. Moreover, it gave me a firsthand understanding of the practical challenges users face daily, enhancing my ability to anticipate and address their needs. This experience has undoubtedly shaped my career, further solidifying my expertise in the tech industry and providing me with valuable skills that I continue to apply today.

This moment was truly meaningful, as it marked my entry into the real working world and the beginning of my journey in the tech industry.
